June 2021: What’s new on Netflix for the Caribbean

Users in Latin America and the Caribbean have a lot to look forward to on Netflix next month.

This June, there’s a lot in reality, comedy and even action coming up on the streaming platform.

Here are a few movies and shows, coming to a TV or phone near you:

Kim’s Convenience – June 2

Kim’s Convenience is a sitcom that follows a Korean-Canadian family who runs a convenience store. The multi-season drop will allow you to see how they juggle entrepreneurship, family life and culture.

Kevin Hart’s Fatherhood – June 18

A hugely successful comedian, Kevin Hart, will be playing the role of a widowed father who learns to raise his daughter on his own in this film.

Lupin (Part 2) – June 11*

After a well-applauded Part One, Lupin is back. The series is inspired by the adventures of Arsène Lupin. According to Netflix, Lupin sets out to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family.

Bumblebee – June 13

Fleeing from the Decepticons in 1987, Bumblebee hides out on Earth. But, after he befriends a sad teen, the battered Beetle’s foes are hot on his trail.

Too Hot to Handle – June 23

After Season one’s success, producers are back with pandemic favourite, Too Hot to Handle. The reality series pits women against men to see who can fight the temptation to covet the grand prize.

Fresh, Fried and Crispy – June 9

Passionate about food and ready for fun, critic Daym Drops will explore some of America’s most famous fried food spots to give his opinion.

BlacKkKlansman – June 3

The first Black detective of the Colorado Springs Police Department teams up with a Jewish colleague to infiltrate a group of white supremacists

CoComelon – June 1

While the first two seasons are already out, this toddler favourite will feature a third season.

Genre: Kids Music, Educational

Rating: All ages
